It's a tool to forward critical information at a very fast pace to targeted individuals. If one person turns out to be infected to flatten the curve it’s crucial to inform the connections to isolate and check for symptoms. The solution can transmit any pre-designed information in a chain of infections through SMS. This means no app, special hardware or different variations for users and no logins. A smartphone with an internet connection is all a person needs. The information will be transferred in seconds and a new person can forward information to known patients at risk shortly after. We need the following:
Short term funding
Funding for ongoing operations. All information travel by SMS, this is done because the information arrive immediately without any delay. On top of this everyone already have a device capable of recieve SMS. That also means short term cost of SMS could be enormous. Donations, funds, grants, sponsors, co-branding? We can do it all, but we need it ASAP in order to go live.
Epidemic/Medical knowledge
Epidemic advice, how to adjust this to make the most good in current situation? Do you have this knowledge yourself or can forward a connection? Let us know. We can help you run fast, but we need support in what direction to run, and what information to forward. An expert in healthcare or epidemics will know this much better than us, preferable at a global level.
Future Research
We could gather tons of data for you. Help us to know if there is any data that might be of importance in the future for epidemic research. We will do our best to collect it for future research purpose to make sense of this, by then, historic situation.
